One of the oldest rum distilled in French West Indies.
Rich oak and “vanilla flavor” created with large oak barrel aging, the characteristics of the rum is felt comfortably.
All-round type that is taken straight as well as for cocktail base. Aging in a large barrel is said to give less influences such as of temperature and make slow, mild and stable maturation possible.
It used to be a popular brand in Cuba as well but production ended in 1980s. Now the distiller is moved to the La Manny Distillery and produces using the same traditional recipe.
