Recipe - How to prepare a Daiquiri

Rum from Cuba of Havana Club is used. In Japan, different flavor Daiquiris such as fruits Daiquiri adding seasonal fruits juice or fruits smoothy type adding blended fruits are popular.
We use sugar made by boiling down and crystallizing sugarcane juice extracted from sugarcane grown under the sun of Tanegashima.
- Basic Daiquiri
- Rum: 45 ml
- Lime Juice: 15 ml
- Sugar: 1 tsp
- (Lime juice can be replaced with lemon juice)
- Floridita Daiquiri
- Mojito served at the Cigar Bar Super nova is prepared with original recipe created by visiting bars in Cuba. The cocktail is made by shaking. You can taste two different kinds of Daiquiris; one is Japanese and the other one is Floridita.
- Rum: 45 cc
- Lemon Juice: 15 cc
- Marraschino: 1 tsp
- Syrup: 1 tsp
- Frozen Daiquiri
- A frozen type Daiquiri served at El Floridita. The original taste is heavier but at the Cigar Bar Super Nova we serve frozen Daiquiri prepared from Japanese recipe.
- Rum: 45 cc
- Lime Juice: 15 cc
- Syrup: 2 tsp
- Sugar: 5 g

- The ways to prepare a Daiquiri is different depending on bars. You can enjoy difference of basic rum, other ingredients and type of sugar used at each bar.
- 1) Put all ingredients in the shaker. Refer to the list above for ingredients. Sourness of lemon differs depending on the season; it is necessary to arrange the balance using syrup and shake thoroughly.
- 2) Pour in a cocktail glass. Straight type Martini glass is recommendable rather than a roundish cocktail glass. Sourness stands out more with the straight lines of the glass that give sharpness to the flavor.
