Matured rather in short time by using new small sized cask from Limousin. After elements from the cask being absorbed enough the rum is moved to 650 liter oak barrel and aged 49-60 months more. Rich smooth flavor and the best balance is created through being aged in different casks from different places of origin and of size.
Neisson is the oldest distillery in Martinique. They still produce rum carefully with their family-owned distillery. Still had been introduced in 1958 that improved the quality of rum drastically. It is still used now days supporting the high quality and pride of the Neisson.
