The only distillery existing in the Republic of Haiti located in the western part of the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea. Sharing a border with Dominican Republic, Haiti was the first country that became independent in Central and South America.

The distillery was founded by Mr. Barbancourt from France who made the original recipe that is used until today. Rich original Barbancourt flavor is made by blending the power of sun and soil of Haiti.

They use Agricole method fermenting fresh sugarcane juice. Medium type with a smooth flavor.
