Making good use of the mountainous landscape, Ron Zacapa is special for being matured in an aging cellar called “house above the cloud” located in 2,300 meters above sea level which is known to be a cellar in the highest land. Slow and stable cask maturation is possible since the air pressure is low in the mountain.
Rums aged for 6 to 25 years in solera system are blended. The system is developed in an original way based on sherry aging method used in Spain for over 500 years.
The last two years is aged in cognac cask which makes the taste pure and further mellower. Excellent rum with sweetness, spiciness and fruitiness in just-fit level. Enjoy perfection of blending technique of the master blender.
