Rum that was aged in stainless tanks for 9 months and 17 months were aged in large barrels separately since 2006 and blended in 2008. After blending it was aged for 17 months more before being bottled.
The excellent rum is influenced by several different barrels by special aging method. “Eleve Sous Boise” means aged in a barrel. Rum aged in stainless barrels receives least influence which makes possible to keep the authentic taste of sugarcane.
The Neisson is the oldest distillery in Martinique. They still produce rum carefully with their family-owned distillery. Still had been introduced in 1958 that improved the quality of rum drastically. It is still used now days supporting high quality and pride of the Neisson.
