Famous writer Arnest Hemingway, the author of “The Old Man and the Sea” is known as a person who deeply loved alcoholic beverages with strong preference. There must be many people who started to drink liquors following Hemingway.

Finca Vigia where he spent most of his life in Cuba is now open to public as Hemingway Museum. Vigia Gran used to be sold exclusively at the Museum as for souvenir. It was sold only on site. They are about 12-15 years old. The production amount is not known but it is exported to Europe only about 4,000 bottles a year. Fruity and complex flavor with nuance of different dried fruits is felt.
